Northwood Grape & Cable Purple Large Fruit Bowl

Here is a large piece of Northwood carnival glass in the famous Grape & Cable pattern. This bowl is known as a Large Fruit Bowl with an amethyst base color. It has a ruffled top and scroll feet.  It measures 10 1/2" across and is 6" tall. It's very large and very heavy! 

Our centerpiece Grape & Cable bowl, also shown here on Showcase, compliments this large fruit bowl nicely on display.  I usually try to find pieces that are of the same base color and pattern that match great together as far as iridescence. This large bowl fruit bowl, the small fruit bowl, and centerpiece bowl, are a match made for each other. I purchased this bowl at Mickey Reichel auction in Boonville, MO.
