Description

Northwood "Good Luck" Green PCE Ribbed Exterior Bowl Photos 1 & 2

This Northwood "Good Luck" bowl has a pie crust edge (PCE) and a ribbed exterior. Its base color is an odd shade of light green. It is so light that it's almost teal in color. There is a touch of aqua when the light passes through the base but I'm not considering this as aqua.

It has a very beautiful spread of colors throughout the interior. This one also has the thin base, which is a little different for green bowls, as most thin bases are found on blue bowls.

Green is one of them colors that is either "fantastic" or "lacking" color in my opinion. It is a bit tough to find these with excellent color so I purchased this one for my collection.

This "Good Luck" bowl is definitely not lacking in color!  It sports the ribbed exterior pattern. There are touches of green and pink on this bowl, although hard to capture in a still picture. It will catch our eye when displayed on any background. I found this beauty on eBay.

Northwood "Good Luck" Amethyst PCE Ribbed Exterior Bowl Photos 4 & 5

This Amethyst "Good Luck" bowl has a fantastic spray of satin iridescence. This was my first "Good Luck" bowl I had ever purchased. Then I bought the blue one right after at the same Mickey Reichel auction in Boonville last year (2014).

This particular bowl is very deep Amethyst base color. You need a very strong light to even penetrate the midnight darkness of this piece. The deep color of the glass really brings out the color on the interior pattern. It's one of my favorites!  Enjoy!

Is it blue? or is it purple?  This blue "Good Luck" bowl doesn't have "blue" iridescence, but more purple and multi-color iridescence on the blue base color.

Thanks for taking the time to view and read about my "Good Luck" charms!  For the new collectors out there who are looking for these Northwood "Good Luck" bowls, you must be sure to watch for minor chips on the horseshoe in the center.  Sometimes it is very hard to catch! Good LUCK!
