Northwood Peacocks On The Fence Electric Blue Plate

Mike and I each have our favorites when it comes to our glass. For me this would be in my top five. I just love everything about this 9-inch plate. It was an early buy at our first convention.

We were in Gary Lickver's room (a dangerous place to be) and when he brought it out I think I gasped and reached for it all at the same time! The actual auction wasn't until the next morning so Mike was a little concerned that I might have been too hasty in spending some of our auction funds beforehand but I knew in my heart there was nothing in that auction I would love as much as I loved this plate ...and I was right! (Don't worry - Mike got the piece he really wanted at auction the next morning.)
