Imperial Ripple Smoke Mid-Size Vase

Of all the vases we have (and we have over a hundred) this Imperial 13" mid-size Ripple vase in smoke is absolutely my favorite.

Have you ever heard someone describing iridescence on a piece of carnival glass as "oil on water"? Well.....this is the only piece of carnival glass that I know of that fits that description.

The heavy pastel smoke iridescence on this vase is bright, radium like, covering every inch, including half way down the inside. It actually looks like it is covered in a thin layer of oil. It is absolutely outstanding.
