Imperial "Imperial Grape" Cobalt Blue Low Ruffled Bowl

Attending the Engel/Wroda auction, June 17th, 2017, we waited patiently for lot #202 to come up for this piece was the main reason that we were there.

Years ago, I sold this bowl and have regretted it ever since. Now....we had a chance to own it again. When it finally came up, I was a total wreck. The bidding took off and went quickly to $8,000 and stopped. WHAT?? WE WON IT??!!?? Now we both were in total shock that we once again were taking this bowl home with us, where it belonged.

The bowl is Imperial's "Imperial Grape"  9-inch low ruffled bowl in cobalt blue. The only one known.
