Imperial "Imperial Grape" Marigold Decanter, Carafe & Wines

My passion continues on and in July, 2001, I purchased this magnificent Imperial Grape decanter, made by Imperial, with two Imperial Grape wines at a carnival glass auction. It took me another six years before I found the right carafe and another two more years to complete the six wines needed to make it a set.

Of the basic colors of carafes, purple, helios, smoke and marigold, the marigold carafe is the hardest one to find with the purple being the most abundant. Go figure.
