Shell & Seaweed Marigold on Moonstone, Purple and Marigold S&P Shakers

Description

The Shell & Seaweed pattern is a mystery to me and I don't know of too many examples. The pattern its self was often used in glass production during this era.

The only colors I've seen are Marigold on Moonstone, straight Marigold, and Amethyst. It took me about twenty years or so to find those three examples! I have also found a non-iridized opaque shaker in a grayish color.

These shakers do have a collar base, very small however, but it's there. The Marigold on Moonstone is not iridized on the bottom, but the purple and marigold are.

They are 3 1/2 inches tall. I typically measure with a flat top. A domed top can make it taller than it really is.
