Northwood Poppy Show Emerald Green Plate

We attended a Jim Seeck auction held in Mason City Iowa, September, 2015. This Emerald Green Poppy Show plate, made by Northwood, was item No.18 in the auction.

We really didn't look it over because we knew that these kind of plates usually go pretty high. The bidding started and quit quite fast. Sherry looked at me and asked, "Should I bid on it?" and I told her to go for it.

She won it with just one bid and neither one of us could believe it. It had to be chipped or have some kind of damage somewhere, but no, it was pristine and Sherry had a new treasure.
