Northwood Acorn Burrs Ice Green Punch Bowl Set

I purchased this ice green Acorn Burrs punch bowl set at auction during HOACGA's September 2014 Jackie Poucher Event by Seeck Auctions. It was the only attainable color I needed to complete my Acorn Burr collection. The cobalt blue and aqua opal ones, which may still come my way some day, keep my hopes high but I am very well satisfied to have a well rounded collection of colors I've shown you here so far.
When Jackie's auction was announced during the April 2014 HOACGA convention I saw previews of this punch bowl and thought finally an ice green one has shown up for sale. I can remember sitting next to Jackie at the Kansas City Airport waiting for our planes to take us home. We talked about her upcoming auction in September and I asked her questions about this set. She wished me good luck and said she hoped I would win it when the time came.
This punch bowl is loaded with pinks and electric blue highlights and changes in depth of color during the course of the day. It came with six punch cups in lime green, much darker than the bowl, which I have replaced with six ice green punch cups I had purchased on eBay in anticipation of purchasing this ice green beauty some day. I love it when a plan comes together.
