Maker Unknown Triumph Marigold Vase

Description

We have had this vase since the late 1990s and have always called it the "Ugly" vase which is what the dealer we bought it from always referred to it as. The vase was found in Sweden. We believe it to be European. We have now decided to name the vase "Triumph".

I have been doing some research for a while now but am still not able to find out who made it. What I didn't know for years, until I looked into the interior at the base one day, was that there was a maker's mark. A bold raised letter "T". Since then, on closer inspection, the mark also looks as if it could be some sort of implement? I have written to various experts on the different makers, both in the USA and Europe, but am still none the wiser. I have a varied list of makers beginning with the letter "T" but no joy yet. I will keep trying.

The vase has a "ribs" pattern on the interior which, as the vase was pulled out into the folds, became a swirled pattern around the interior. It is covered in a rich, heavy, gold iridescence at the base which merges upwardly into blues and pinks.

Anyone have any thoughts?

It measures 12 1/2" high, 3 1/4" across the base and the max width across the top is 7".
