Joseph Inwald Czech Republic Nola Paneled Twigs Marigold Cologne Bottles

Description

Here we see that fantastic display of iridescence that Inwald is famous for. There is no getting away from guessing who made these beautiful items.

We purchased these two pieces in the year 2000 from a dealer who traveled to Europe.

Nola is a simple pattern which is not just on the cologne bottle itself but also continues on the four sides of the stopper. The bases are ground and highly polished. Your can see the different iridescent effects on both of these pieces. The medium size cologne, which measures 5.5" tall with a base width of 2", highlights coral and golds whereas the large cologne, which measures 6.5" tall and 2.25" wide, shows blues, lilacs and cerise. Even without any lighting on them, pieces in this pattern are wonderful to look at.
