Joseph Inwald Czech Republic Jacobean Ranger Marigold Powder Jar

This very small Jacobean Ranger powder bowl was bought by us in 2001. It was our second purchase in this pattern which we took an instant liking to due to the rich and heavy iridescence displayed.

The base is ground and polished with a many pointed star, the lid also features a cut in star.

The interior of this piece shows the magnificence of Inwalds iridescence with gold, turquoise and fuschia in abundance, the same colours highlighted on the exterior. The deeper the marigold the more colours featured.
