Imperial Smooth Panels Banded Marigold Vase

 

Here we have some photos from an eBay listing of an Imperial Smooth Panels “Banded” marigold vase I bought in February 2017.  

 

This vase is 4 1/4” tall and 4 1/2” wide, with a 2 1/2” base diameter and has  8 panels as all Smooth Panels do.

 

This is the first example I’ve seen with a band. Most will have a “shoulder” that sticks out to a point, as you will notice if you look on Dave Doty’s site, top left.  This one just goes straight down with no shoulder, but just the distinctive band.
