Fenton Orange Tree 3-in-1 Edge Red Slag Bowl

While attending the ICGA (International Carnival Glass Association) convention in April of 2015, I had heard from someone that there was an awesome red piece of Carnival in Tim Cantrell's room. I have known Tim for about ten years so I went to pay him a visit.
Yes, indeed! Tim had this OUTSTANDING, not red, but a true red slag, 3-in-1 edge Orange Tree bowl and he said that he was taking offers. I asked him what kind of offers he had so far and he said he had none. It was Friday already and the convention ends after the auction on Saturday. We had a talk and thin I made him an offer but the offer ended if I left the room empty handed. Tim's a smart guy and the offer was accepted.
Besides being quite rare, it's the first one I have ever seen and it's an amazing piece of glass. This bowl would mark the beginning of our 3-in-1 edge Orange Tree Bowl collection.
