Fenton Diamond & Rib Green Jardiniere Whimsey Vase
Description
This vase came from the Fenton Museum auction in 2014. There are a few jardinieres but this is the only one I have seen in green that's been whimsied. I'm sure there's others.
This one has a crack in it. My good friend, Tom Burns, thinks that a lot of whimsies where damaged during the making and instead of throwing them away, they made something out of them like spittoons, whimsey shapes, and others. Makes sense to me.
