Dugan Grapevine Lattice Purple Small Plate

The last piece we purchased at the HOACGA, Heart of America Carnival Glass Association auction on April 29th, 2017 was lot #223, a purple Grapevine & Lattice 7-inch plate with Mind Blowing Electric iridescence. Being a lover of purple Dugan carnival glass, one always hopes to come across a piece of this quality, and when you do, the next thing is to not let it get away from you, and I didn't.
Christina Katsikas, whose plate this was, likes to call this piece, "A Real Headlight". I can just imagine having two of these plates on the front of your vehicle. At night, the road would definitely be lit up during your travels. YES!!!
Christina tells me it was purchased from an auction in Mason City, Iowa featuring the Krattiger Estate out of Wisconsin in September of 2013.
