Dugan Farmyard Purple Six-Ruffle Bowl

Our first and only trip to Florida was in February, 2002. We first attended the Sunshine State Convention, then traveled down to Key West, back up to Disney World, and then to Tampa for their convention. Tom Burns did both convention auctions which were only one week apart.

It was at Tampa where we went to check out this bowl. I thought, and so did Sherry, that this was quite a tremendous bowl. When the bidding started, I soon realize that there were other collectors that felt the same way. When the bidding was over, we had won a hard fought battle.

This bowl has forever found a place of honor on our shelf.
