Cambridge Tomahawk in Purple ~Novelty~Toy~Souvenir~

Description

Many great articles have been written by highly esteemed and competent authors on the subject of the original Cambridge Tomahawks. I will leave the hard work of these experts with their thorough research to enlighten you while I work on my own story of how I acquired this particular one that belonged to my friend, Jackie Poucher. The last photo is the picture I took of it when I visited her home in Florida during the 2008 Tampa Bay Club Convention. Please be sure to click on the pictures again to enlarge them. The details are astounding!

I am providing you with these two links. The first one is an August, 1997 Crystal Ball article, issue 292, written by Joseph A.A. Bourque Sr., who is a member of the National Cambridge (Glass) Collectors, Inc.,  Here is the story of That Elusive Tomahawk.

The second link is also a Crystal Ball article written by Mark A. Nye, Issue 230 from June, 1922 called Novelty Items, Part IV. It's chock full of information including the Cambridge Near Cut Novelties catalogue page. It's so very interesting and fun to read.
