Description
I didn't have a mentor for several years. I was born and lived in Millersburg my whole life. I would buy Millersburg Glass when I could and if I was sure it was Millersburg. Then Bo and I went to the Whitley auction. Wow! What an experience that was. I realized that there was a lot of beautiful glass out there that wasn't even made my Millersburg.
While we were there we were fortunate enough to meet Doug & Karen Engel from Oregon. We become instant friends and the glass addiction kicked into high gear. I have to say, Karen was our 1st mentor. Also, later we met Jim Wroda and Aaron Hurst. They also mentored us a lot.
